It is essential that Health and Social Care are integrated, providing certainty and obviating any grey areas for our elderly. Our Health service will always be free at the point of use and only minor projects will be subcontracted to private business and finance for all projects will be by the Government. We must never again let Government sell the taxpayer down the river with Private Finance Initiatives syphoning off Billions to shareholders of private companies.
Everyone within our Healthcare service must be motivated to work for the national interest and attitudes like "the cost is not important the government will pick up the tab" must be dispelled as everyone must understand that we ALL pay in our taxes at the end of the day. There are sufficient good motivated people within the service to keep the service on the straight and narrow but they must have recourse to an effective "whistleblower" system with effective none partisan follow up to keep the service on the straight and narrow.
We must also STOP effectively taxing the sick by having car parking charges, they must be FREE to all users of the NHS and adequate parking must always be planned in any new project. Modern Technology must be rolled out so that Automatic Number Plate Recognition Technology can be used to prevent unauthorised use of the Car Parks.
